Williamston's Annual ArtFest on the River took place July 28, 2012 on the banks of the Red Cedar River at scenic McCormick Park in historic downtown Williamston, Michigan. ArtFest is a free community event showcasing the talents of artists from Williamston and surrounding areas.

Artists will be demonstrating and exhibiting an array of art, and performing dance, music and theater. In addition to highlighting the accomplishments of our community, ArtFest brings art to the youth of this area by providing a multi-media art experience. |

ArtFest is a family-oriented event with many opportunities to participate in drawing and painting techniques, workshops, and fun-filled activities designed especially for children and young adults.

Team ArtFest, the Artists and the Community wish to thank Gracie's Place for hosting the fund raiser "Ribs For Art". Also thank you to chef Howard Dahlstrom, the Gracie's bar and kitchen staff, waitpersons Jenna Brandon, Elizabeth Brandon, Jacob Brandon, Laura Bailey Brandon and John Pasko. Also big thanks to Pete Porciello,our pianist, and Phillis Chirico, our hostess. It was a great success.
